Weakness and Remedies

Candidates’ weaknesses were shown in their inability to:

-           sketch the types of cylinder arrangement;     
-           state the function of the parts of an engine;
-           distinguish between market segmentation and market segment;
-           explain the functions of a catalogue.

SUGGESTED REMEDIES FOR OVERCOMING THE WEAKNESES
Heads of school were advised to assign the subject to two qualified teachers who are specialist in the two aspect of the subject: the technical aspect and the merchandising aspect.  Candidates were also advised to prepare very well before sitting for the examination.
