Candidates' Strength

The observed strengths of the candidates include:

• ability to name the labelled parts of illustrated diagrams;
• ability to state the function of some labelled parts of the illustrated diagrams;
• ability to name examples of seeds that undergo epigeal germination in question 4 (b) (ii);
• ability to answer recall questions as expected;
• some candidates could name the type of fruit illustrated in 1 (b);
• slight improvement in the spelling of technical terms;
• answering questions peculiar to their country only.
