It was observed that many of the candidates:
lacked knowledge and skills of geometric construction, lettering and dimensioning;.
could not read and interpret building plans correctly.
To overcome these weaknesses, candidates should be well grounded in:
rudiments of geometric constructions (i.e. construction of angles, arcs, tangents, polygons, etc) with the aid of drawing instruments; proper methods of dimensioning building drawing;

In addition, candidates should be given ample drawing assignments in order to enhance their flexibility in drawing.
