Christian Religious Studies Paper 2 Nov/Dec 2015

Question 1

Judges 4

  1. Deborah’s role in Israel’s victory
  2. Contributions of women to the development of the society.

Observation

This question was very popular among the candidates.  It was well handled by them especially in the A part. They were able to outline the activities of Deborah in supporting Barak to wage war against King Jabin. They were also able to show how the prophesy of Deborah came to fulfillment that the glory of the war would go to a woman. However, in the B part which required that candidates should state ways women contribute to the development of the society, some of the candidates lacked the understanding to tackle the question.
