Question 4 required the candidates to list eight equipment in the bar. The candidates were unable to provide accurate answers to this question; it was obvious they lacked the knowledge of what obtains in a standard bar. Furthermore, the candidates misinterpreted the (b) part of the question which was on important points in maintenance and care of kitchen equipment for care of the kitchen; hence they performed poorly.
