Candidates' Weakness and Suggested Remedies
Candidates could not:
                                                                                                                         
 -write  a balanced equation for the overall cell reaction for an electrochemical cell 
constructed  with copper and silver electrodes;
- give correct observation for the  reaction involving NaCl and AgNO3 on addition of ammonia solution  and dilute HNO3;
-draw the diagram for preparation of  dry oxygen gas as well as stating the source of N2 and H2  for the Haber’s process and the impurities in the materials;
 -draw and label a  diagram for the preparation of a dry sample of chlorine in the Laboratory;
 -           State  the reason why metals are good conductors of electricity.
     
       
       The following remedies were however  suggested: 
 Candidates should
       -           understand the demands of the  questions before responding to them;
       -           learn  to explain concepts using appropriate technical terms;
 -           ensure  coverage of the syllabus before the commencement of examination;
