The Standard of the paper was good and compared favourably with those of previous years. The rubrics were clear and concise.  The questions were well constructed and within the scope of the examination syllabus. The marking scheme was adequate, flexible and fair to candidates.
The candidates’ raw mean score of 18 with a standard deviation of 10.39 shows that their performance was better than that of the Nov/Dec 2008 WASSCE when the raw mean score was 14 with standard deviation of 10.44.
