Candidate's Strength

Candidates’ strengths in the paper were evident in the following areas:

• majority of the candidates were able to carry out titrations and obtained concordant titre values;
• a good number of the candidates were able to calculate average titre value;
• majority of the candidates were able to make inferences from observations made during qualitative analysis.
• some of the candidates rounded off their answers to three significant figures when concentrations of A and B were calculated.
