Candidates

-           did not use consistent titre values for calculating the average volume of B used;
-           mistook B for base and A for acid;
-           handwriting was not legible.

The following remedies were suggested.

candidates should

• be familiar with the examination syllabus;
• improve on their study habit;
• learn how to write legibly;
• learn how to write the correct charges on ions.
