State five Hardship that victims of human trafficking may experience in the hands of human traffickers

This question was popular as it attracted a great percentage of candidates and their performances were incredible. Additional points candidates could have given are


  1. Human rights violation of the victims e.g they are subjected to hardship/forced labour.
  2. Untimely death of victims due to ill health and maltreatment.
  3. Sexual abuse and risk of contracting sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV/AIDS,
  4. Victims of human trafficking suffer stigmatization/bad image in the society.
  5. Unwanted pregnancy among female victims.
  6. Most victims of human trafficking end up in abject poverty due to exploitation.
  7. Emotional/physical disorder of victims
  8. Some victims of human trafficking also fall victims of crimes such as drug abuse, drug trafficking.
  9. Denial to victims access to education especially children.
