The candidates perf armed well in part A of the question which required
differentiation of balance of trade and balance of payment. But in part B of the
question the candidates performed poorly.
The functions of Export Promotion Council (EPC) includes:
i.The Council assists in identifying markets for selling goods abroad.
ii
.It provides training/support services to potential exporters.
iii. It offers trade information service to potential exporters.
IV.It offers export insurance guaranteed schemes to encourage exporters to take
risk etc.
