Candidates' Weaknesses

The Chief Examiner reported that majority of the Candidates were weak in the demonstration of practical skills. It was also reported that candidates showed weaknesses on use of technical terms and poor logical presentation of steps for performing tasks. 
                                                                                               

As a way of improving candidates’performance, the Chief Examiner suggested that:

1. teachers should engage the students in hands-on activities regularly;
2. teachers should expose the students to glossary of words in all the application software recommended for teaching.
3. teachers should use the correct concept or term while teaching.
4. schools should provide practical facilities for teaching and learning.
5. students should improve their practical skills by constant practice.
