Candidates’ weaknesses are listed as follows:

• B.S. graphical symbols;
• illumination;
•  health and safety regulations;
• poor responses to questions involving explanation;
• enterprenuership.

The following remedies were however suggested:

candidates should:

• learn  electrical terms;
• learn IEE regulations;
• learn and understand the graphical B.S. symbols;
• be exposed to workshop practice;
• read and understand entrepreneurship in electrical installation;
• qualified teachers should teach the subject.
