Majority of the candidates evidently did not cover the syllabus in the course of preparing for the paper. It was reported that a few candidates could not give the circuit symbol for Field Effect Transistor (FET) and the block diagram of Tuned Radio Frequency (TRF).

The indicated remedies are as follow:
- Candidates should cover all topics specified in the syllabus during preparations for examinations.
- Instructors are well-advised to ensure that candidates thoroughly understand basic theory.
