Observation

The candidates were required to read the passage which was based on drug addiction and summarize some details in a specific number of sentences. Despite the simple, straightforward summary passage, many candidates were still unable to summarize properly. Many candidates confused drug addiction with drug abuse which led to their poor performance in Question 7(b). Some candidates lifted sentences verbatim from the passage.
