In this question, candidates were required to:
(a) compute depreciation;
(b) prepare provision for depreciation account;
(c) prepare a balance sheet extract.
Observation
Most candidates attempted this question and the performance was good. They seemed to be familiar with questions on depreciation account though some lose few marks due to failure to prepare the balance sheet extract as required.
