Question 3

In question 3a, candidates were required to give the effects of cooking on fruits, in 3b they were to give instances for cooking fruits and rules to follow when cooking fruits in question 3c. Very few candidates attempted this question and those that did were unable to distinguish between effects, instances and rules. While the candidates’ performance on question 3a was average, they performed poorly in questions 3b and 3c.
