Some candidates did not understand certain questions well; as such they wrote wrong responses. 

     SUGGESTED REMEDIES

(1)      To improve on candidates’ performance, teachers of French should teach more of the basic grammatical structures at each lesson.

(2)      They should educate their students more on the importance of reading and understanding every question before attempting any.
