The standard of the paper was good and did not deviate from those of the previous years.  The questions were understandable, straightforward, unambiguous and covered the Syllabus adequately.  The rubrics were clearly stated.

Moreover, the Marking Scheme was very liberal and generous because the points detailed in it were exhaustive enough to accommodate all categories of candidates.

However, there was no significant improvement in candidates’ overall performance when compared with those of the previous years.
