CANDIDATES' WEAKNESSES AND SUGGESTED REMEDIES

The candidates’ weaknesses include their inability to:

  • write correct spellings;
  • write legibly;
  • state characteristics of good sitting posture;
  • name stages in the purification of water at water processing plant;
  • name glands in humans;
  • state the exact locations of the glands named in humans;
  • state disorders of the nervous system;
  • say the term that could be used to describe the disease, considering its rapid spread in the village;
  • state ways of controlling infectious diseases in humans;
  • draw and label fully a cervical vertebra;
  • explain the following health terms naturally acquired immunity, artificially acquired immunity and morbidity rate;
state features of the thoracic vertebra.

               
The following remedies were suggested to overcome these weaknesses:

  • tutors should put in more efforts in correcting spelling mistakes made by the students;
  • candidates should be engaged in handwriting skill;
  • candidates should read extensively to cover the syllabus.
