Observation

This was not a popular question among the candidates. Therefore the candidates were unable to answer the questions and they performed woefully. The expected answers are   
environmental friendly practices in home management include generate  minimal/wastage;
sort the solid waste according to type e.g. separate the recyclable ones; dispose the packaging waste  properly e.g. cartons; wrapping and containers for purchase goods such as empty cans, bottles and foil paper should be properly disposed. Ways of preventing waste in consumption in the household include buy only what you or the family needs; buy good quality goods/items; always make a shopping list and stick to it when making purchases; store
purchased items properly to avoid spoilage; cook and serve only the amount of food needed
by the family.
