Ediwed mbaña ñkpọ/Uwed ñwedetob

 

Wet baña keed ke otu mme iwuodikọ ami.

(a) Wet ñwedetob nọ ayịneka mfo adʌññọ ye afo, dọkkọ anye ke amedakka usọrọ ndọ ke Ikot Ekpene, ke ntoro, anye amaanyọñ ufọkñwed idi, yak aben ñkpọ adia, akuuda ubet fien.

 

(b) Wet ñwedetob adikọọm ukara Akwa Ibom daña abọp ekamba afe eyob ke idʌñ ndufo, nyʌñ dọkkọ ukara ufọn iba se afe eyob ado anam inọọ ndufo.

 

(c) Wet mfaaña ke iwuodikọ ami “Uka ñwed ubakusen afọn akan ñwed ndubi-eyo”

 

(d) Wet mbʌk ke iwuodikọ ami “Ntak ami mmaaha ufọkñwed nnyịn”.

 

(e) Wet inem mbʌk ayaarake ñke ami “Ubọkikpa keed akem adiọọñọ idem owo”

Observation

(a) The candidate is required to write a letter to a sibling who lives with him, telling him or her to have his/her meal when he/she returns from school rather than wait for the candidate who has gone to Ikot Ekpene to attend a marriage ceremony. Few candidates answered this question and their performance was good.

 

(b) Candidates were to write a letter to the Government of Akwa Ibom State thanking the government for building an oil palm mill in candidate’s community and to inform government of two benefits of the said company to the community. Candidates’ performance in this question was fair.

 

(c) This was an argumentative essay on the topic “Day school is better than evening school”. Candidates’

performance on this question was fair.

(d) This was an essay on the topic “Why I like our school”. Candidates’ performance on this question was very good.

 

(e) Candidates were to write a story that demonstrates the Ibibio proverb which says that “One stroke of the cane is enough for the wise”.

 

The performance of candidates in this question was good.
