Candidates’ strengths were observed in the following areas:

(a) proper use of letter formalities in writing; good knowledge of formal features of writing;.
(b) proper use of dialogue in the question that requires written conversation;
(c) ability to use more concise and less verbose expressions;
(d) ability to identify the kinds of letter writing;
(e) adherence to rubrics.
