This is a two-fold-question which required completion ofHadith 15 of an-Nawawi and explanation of its lessons. Going by the observation of Chief Examiners, many candidates chose the question and were able to complete the Hadith accurately. For a few of them who could not do the completion in English, they resorted to its completion in Arabic. Let it therefore be noted that the language of a question of this nature should also be the language of answers expected from candidates. Lessons such as good use of the tongue, goodness to the neighbour and hospitality towards the guest, enhanced candidates' performance.
