This was a question which required the candidates to examine in general terms, the' position of cleanliness (at-Taharah) in Islam. Also, the question was simple and attempted by most candidates but some candidates only emphasized only Ghusl (ritual bath) and Wudii'(ablution) at the expense of other forms of purification such as Janabah (post- consummation cleansing), Haydah (post-menstruation cleansing), Nifas (post-natal bleeding cleansing) and Dhukul Islam (ritual bath for embracing Islam). By and large, candidates' performance was fairly good.
