OBSERVATION

The performance of candidates who chose this question was fairly good as some of them gave points which earned them pass marks while some were confused with the word concept and thus could not address Trinity from the perspective of Islam. Some of the points expected from the candidates include the acknowledgement of Trinity as a Christian doctrine disapproved of by Islam; belief in Trinity amounts to Shirk which is associating partners with Allah; Allah does not share His Lordship with anybody; and according to Qur’an 5:116-117, Prophet ‘Isa disassociated himself from the doctrine of Trinity.
