OBSERVATION

This question which was on application tested the candidates’ ability to digest the content of Suratul ‘Alaq and apply its lessons to daily life was attempted by few candidates. In their responses, they found it difficult to apply the lessons of the Surah to daily life and thus scored very low. Some of the points expected of them include the biological origin of man explained in the Chapter for him to know his worth and humble himself before His Creator; the need for man to acquire all forms of knowledge, acknowledgement of Allah as the only reliable source of knowledge and Allah as the brain behind scientific and technological advancements of all ages.
