Candidates' Weaknesses
Some candidates failed to study the prescribed texts, this was evident in their scanty answers to questions. Such candidates' performance was poor. Some candidates could not express their points in good English.
Suggested Remedies
- The stakeholders in education should encourage the candidates to read by
providing the prescribed texts in the libraries.
- Candidates should desist from relying only oh short notes and summary for study
purposes, they should also endeavour to buy and study the prescribed texts,
- Qualified teachers should be employed to teach the subject in schools. Teachers
should attend training programmes such as seminars and workshops to improve
their teaching skills.
