Comment on Pokuwaa’s change of attitude towards the gods.



Pokuwaa’s change of attitude towards the gods stems from her disappointment after many sacrifices. Her mother introduces her to Tano as the only way out and has to be urged by Kwadwo and Koramoa on the same issue.
She is not a great worshipper of Tano or other gods. She is even ignorant of the workings of the spirit world. After endless wailing she decides to give up on the expectation for the god of Tano including the use of herbs.
Pokuwaa’s mother cannot understand the use of has decided to stop sacrificing to the gods. Pokuwaa retains her belief in Nyankopon the Almighty and eventually becomes pregnant.

Few candidates attempted the question and their performance was poor.
