Observation

This question was very straightforward and many candidates attempted it.

Candidates were expected to:

• Identify the theme of corruption.
• Explain how the theme is played out by Whitehead.
• Provide a clear character identification of Whitehead.
• Whitehead's deceit of Mando land and the effect of Whitehead's deceit.

Only a few candidates were able to do these; and the performance was fair.
