General Comments

The standard of the paper compared favourably  with those of the previous years. The questions were spread across the main sections of the syllabus.   The questions were clearly worded and devoid of ambiguity.  The marking scheme was comprehensive and answered the questions adequately.  The performance of the candidates fell below that of last year.
