The standard of the paper compared favourably with those of the previous years. The questions were unambiguous and they were within the scope of the syllabus. The rubrics were clearly stated and the Marking Scheme comprehensively provided for all possible responses to the questions. However, candidates’ performance showed a marginal decline when compared to that of the previous year.
