Observation

This question was attempted by many candidates their performance was fair. In part (a) candidates could not correctly explain the terms in gymnastics: matwork and boxwork. In part (b) (i) many candidates correctly mentioned gymnastic activities performed on box and in (b)(ii) candidates correctly stated phases involved in the execution of box work in gymnastics. In part (c) few candidates correctly mentioned gymnastic activities that involved double take-off during execution. In part (d) many candidates could not correctly state characteristics of vaulting activities in gymnastics.

The expected answers were as follows:
