This question was attempted by many candidates and the candidates performances was fair.
In part (a) candidates wrote wrong answers such as intramural, extramural, round robin/league and knick-out/single elimination.  In part (c) many candidates missed the question as they wrote biceps, triceps, tripezius, latissimus dorsi, brachio-radialis and brachialis.

The expected answers were as follows:

(a)        Factors to be considered in selecting type of tournament
-           purpose of conducting the tournament
-           types of activity involved/game involved
-           amount of time available
-           number of athletes involved
-           number of teams involved

• personnel available for officiating
• equipment available
• fund available
