Weakness and Remedies

 

Candidates’ weaknesses include their inability to:

• write correct spellings
• write anatomical words correctly
• name jumping styles in high jump event;
• state rules guiding the long jump event;
• list skills used in the game of football;
• explain direct free kick and indirect free kick in football game;
• mention common skills in racket games;
• mention types of service in the game of badminton;
• state three instances when a let is called during badminton match;
• write the full meaning of some acronyms in sports;
• mention advantages and disadvantages of a league tournament;
• name muscles of the upper parts of the human body;
• the substances that are exchanged during respiration.

 

The following remedies were suggested to overcome these weaknesses:

• regular review of course content with the students
• teachers should be more commited
• candidates should be more serious in their academic pursuit
• visit stadia, sports and recreational centres for better understanding of the subject
