Some of the weaknesses observed in the Candidates’ Scripts were:

1. Wrong placement of shorthand outlines which made it hard for them to transcribe what

        they jolted down.

1. Poor spelling and wrong use of words.
2. Writing of the dictated passages in longhand instead of shorthand.

2. Theory of shorthand should be taught and learnt by the Candidates so as to improve

       the placement of shorthand outlines

1. Candidates should focus on drilling with use of short forms, phrases and contractions in

        Shorthand so as to improve their speed.

1. Candidates should also improve on their spelling and usage of English Language so

        to avoid making grammatical errors
