Candidate's Weakness and Remedies
A SUMMARY OF CANDIDATES’ WEAKNESSES
Candidates showed weakness in the following areas:
- identifying of the hand tools;
- sketching of hand tools;
- mechanical drawing;
- conventional symbols in building drawing.
SUGGESTED REMEDY FOR OVERCOMING THE WEAKNESSES
Candidates are hereby advised to work harder on the identified weak areas most especially on identification and sketch of hand tools used in Building and Mechanical industries.
Standard studio should be provided for the students and qualified teachers should be employed. Also teachers should be trained frequently to improve their knowledge and keep them updated in the subject area.
