- Scanty explanation of point
Some candidates merely listed points as answers when explanation of those points were required. This led to the loss of precious marks.
- Incomplete coverage of the syllabus
It was observed that some candidates did not completely cover the syllabus before going in for the examination.
- Poor expression
Some candidates had poor command of the language of communication.
Suggested Remedies
(1) Where explanation, highlighting, outlining, description or stating are
required in the question, it is expected that the candidates give meaningful
explanation in order to secure full marks .
(2) Complete coverage of the syllabus
It is expected that candidates fully cover the content of the examination syllabus before the start of the examination. This will put them in a better position to attempt all necessary questions.
It is expected that the candidates express themselves well in good English. This could be mastered through the reading of English textbooks and other literatures.
