The question was also well attempted by the candidates and their performance was remarkable. Good line qualities gave strength and movement to the structure of the fruits and appropriate textures gave the pineapple and pawpaw a realistic rendering. Tones were properly graded to give solidity to the forms of the objects. However, some drawings were not impressive, with poor shadings and sketchy execution.
