Observation

The candidates identified her as a potter/sculptor, while some discussed her as a bead maker. The question seemed strange to most of the candidates.  Those who followed the requirements were scored accordingly. The candidates were expected to answer in the following way:

(a)        Training
-           She was trained in traditional weaving by her grandmother at Ogidi in
Ijumu, Kogi State.

•       She was also a product of Osogbo art school.

Achievements and general contributions to the development of art

•       Founder and director of three art centres in Osogbo, Ogidi and Lagos.
•       She established galleries in Osogbo, Abuja and Lagos.
•       She offers free training in all her centres.
•       She is a collector of artworks.
•       She has mentored several young artists.
•       She has exhibited her works across the globe and organized workshop   

      widely.

•       She has created job for many Nigerian women.
•       She has produced paintings with the use of symbols derived from Adire

cloth.
