The question required the candidates to design a pictorial poster, aimed at campaigning against indecent dressing in the society, incorporating the caption: "BE RESPONSIBLE, DRESS DECENTLY". They were expected to use not more than three colours for the 25cm by 20 ern poster.

This question was well attempted by candidates and some of them demonstrated a sound knowledge of the principles and elements of design. Some candidates however could not address the topic effectively. This class of students obviously lack an understanding of the requirements ofa good poster design. Bad illustrations, unharrnonized colours, bad lettering and disjointed compositions were some of the noticeable defects on the works of the candidates.
