The question attracted only a few candidates who performed quite below average. In fact, the question had the poorest attempt by the candidates. It required an imaginative composition of proportional human figures and objects in the appropriate environment. Candidates were also expected to make use of harmonious colours and tones. All these essentials were conspicuously missing in the works and in most cases, compositions were not relevant to the stipulated theme.
Consequently, a substantial part of the obtainable marks were lost by the candidates.
