The following weaknesses were observed from candidates’ drawing:
Poor draughtsmanship;
Poor presentation of drawing i.e. no border line, no title block and the drawing papers were very dirty.
Use of straight edge instead of freehand.
Repetition of the same design instead of two different designs.
To overcome these weaknesses, candidates should be given design and drawing assignments that will test these parameters.
