Observation
This question required the candidates to list in sequence the machine preparation of the given timber.
Most of the candidates performed poorly in this question. Candidates were expected to do the following:
(i) use a the diagram to show the movement of the piece through the machines in the correct sequence;
(ii) list four business opportunities in woodworking;
(iii) name two types of portable sander.
