Observation
- Ọjà Ìlú Mi: This is a descriptive essay which requires the candidates to describe a market in their town. Most candidates who attempted this question tackled it very well.
 
(b) Ẹ̀gẹ́ This is an expository essay on Cassava. Most of the candidates who attempted this question understood the topic.
(d)Ètò ìsìnkú ọba ìlú mi:  This is a narrative  essay on the burial ceremony of the candidates’ king.
    
(e)    Ọlọ́pàá ìjọba ìpínlẹ̀ dára ju ọlọ́pàá ìjọba àpapọ́ lọ: Candidates were required 
    to write  in favour of or against the topic “State Government  police is better than Federal Government police”. This topic was not properly  handled by most of the candidates who picked the topic majority  of them dogmatically wrote in favour of one side  of the topic without mentioning the cons. This reduced their chances of scoring  reasonable marks in this question.  
(ẹ) Kọ lẹ́tà sí ọ̀gá  àgbà ilé-ẹ̀kọ́ rẹ kí ó sì ṣàlàyé ìdí tí o kò fi lè padà sí ilé-ẹ̀kọ́ lẹ́yìn àyè  ọlọ́jọ́ mẹ́ta tí ó fún ọ 
    Candidates were expected  to write a formal letter to their school principal stating reasons why they will not be able to return back  to school after the three days permission off school granted to them. 
    Most of the candidates who attempted  this question tackled this topic   very  well.
