Candidates' Weaknesses

The weaknesses include:

• Spelling errors;
• Poor expression of ideas due to inability to construct correct sentences;
• Inability to state steps in the crumbing down in Catering;
• Inability to state the class of fire that results from each of the following materials: gas, metal, wood and cooking oil.

To overcome these weaknesses mentioned above:
Teachers should - use the appropriate recommended textbooks and other resources to
teach;
Candidates should- be directed on how to read their books and have personal reading habit;

                           - be exposed to the appropriate techniques of interpreting and answeringquestions;

                            -endeavour to improve on their vocabulary and grammar in English Language;
The Government should - equip school libraries with appropriate textbooks;
-organise workshops and seminars for teachers;
- employ qualified teachers.
- equip the laboratories;
-  provide a conducive environment for the students.
