This was a compulsory question answered by majority of candidates. The candidates did justice to the poetical excerpt given to them to appreciate from the poetical work of (Hassan Bn Thābit). Candidates were asked to mention the name of the poet. Few candidates were unable to interpret the three lines given. Despite that, the performance of the candidates was generally good in this question.
