- (a) Candidates’ Weaknesses
Candidates’ unpreparedness culminated in the inaccurate readings which translated into their undoing due to lack of understanding/lack of the theories of the experiments.
(b) Suggested Remedies
It was suggested that to remedy this weakness:
- the exposure of candidates to as many practical sessions as possible;
- appropriate authorities should provide functional pieces of equipment for candidates’ practice before examination;
- teachers themselves were required to master basics and theories of the subject to offer effective tutorship to candidates.
