It was observed that many candidates:
- failed to show sectional lines on plan;
- lacked knowledge of representing building roof both in type and pitch;
- failed to prepare doors and windows schedules in accordance with the conventional format.
To overcome these weaknesses, candidates should be:
- given ample drawing assignments involving various lines used in building drawing and their applications;
- exposed to building working drawings produced by qualified professionals such as architects and structural engineers;
- well acquainted with types of roof and their structures.
