Question 3(a), Define fastenings

(ii) List eight examples of fastenings.

(b) State the two functions of fastenining

(c)(i) List the three methods of applying a conventional zipper

(ii) Explain any two of the methods in 3c (i) above.

Fastenings were well defined with good examples given in 3a and in 3b, the functions were well stated. Many candidates could not answer 3c correctly. The mething of applying a conventional zippers could not be done since they could not list the methods correctly.
